“We Make Change Work for Women”

Women play an important role in our society. A woman symbolizes as liberty, give birth, take in-charge to their children and responsible for household chores.

Women’s Month is a special month for everyone. This is one of the most important occasions that we celebrate to appreciate the importance of every woman in our world.

In Antipolo City Senior High School, we celebrate this month on April 1, 2019. There are lot of students participated especially Grade 11. They discover and gained new knowledge about the rights and importance of the women. For example, the importance of the women from the past years and the status nowadays of the women experienced human trafficking, prostitutions, physical abuse, and sexual harassment.

During the celebration SSG officers was given a task to be the discipline committee, which is to monitor the behaviour and attitudes of every student in the program and observed cleanliness.

SSG officers was divided into different sections to manage the event properly. From the beginning until the end of the program the SSG officers serves as a help to the teachers to make the program successful. Also, the officers observe the discipline of the students with regards on using their mobile phones.

Also, the officers ensured the safety and comfort of every student and teachers all throughout the program. Yet although there are some challenges encountered during the program, still the SSG officer did able to surpass it.

After the program the officers still did their jobs to preserve the cleanliness of the said venue. With the help of the students Antipolo City Senior High School (ACSHS) we returned the chairs that were used in the said program. The officers also help with the equipment used in the said event to it proper place and owners.

The effect of the seminar to the students is that they are expecting to demonstrate their gained knowledge in their community as well as in their role as a youth in the society. Also, the SSG officer plan to conduct an event that was connected to this seminar that will developed and engage every student to more interactive programs to engrave their ability.

The SSG officers was able to do their task properly.
